Ristorante Conte is an Italian restaurant located in Buxheim, the South of Germany. It has a spectacular lake side view and a fantastic (and large) Italian menu. Our task was to create a simple but elegant website, ensure that the restaurant was visible on Google, and setup it’s social media presence.

Homepage

A simple yet effective homepage displaying contact information and directions, as well as images and galleries, allowing the user to get a feel of the restaurant, even before setting foot inside. 

Menu

With over 100 individual items on the menu, Ristorante Conte has one of the largest menus in the local area. Displaying it on the website allows potential customers to see the large variaty of dishes and get a feel for the type of cuisine. 

Reservations

As per the owners request, only the telephone number should be displayed, without the inclusion of a contact/reservation form. Despite this, a large % of reservations are made from people calling in after visitng the website.

First task was to list the business on Google. This allows people to  quickly access important information after a quick search. Things like opening hours and directions are shown even before clicking through to the website.

Then we added some more information, such as seating arrangements, dining options, amenities, etc.,  making it easier for people to get a feel for the place, even before stepping inside. 

Lastly we got some beautiful drone and wide angle shots, all to be used on social media, the website, and the Google listing.

Facebook & Instagram

The two perfect platforms to promote a restaurant. We started by setting up and linking the accounts, and making sure everything was business optimized, allowing us to see detailed stats about the audience and our posts.

Announcements

Using the story feature on both instagram and facebook to keep followers up to date on what is going on with the restaurant and any upcoming events is an extremely effective way of bringing more customers into the restaurant.

Here is an example when we announced an “Italian Music Night”, on the 12th of July, 2019.

Community Engagement

One of the most important and overlook aspects of social media marketing is community engagement. Liking comments, replying to individuals, whether it’s an answer to a question or just showing appreciation, a little goes a long way in building a community.

Ristorante Conte now sees roughly 6.4k weekly views on their Google listing, and over 2500 montly visitors on their website. Their social media presence is growing at a steady rate, and it is safe to say that this has lead to many reservations made on a monthly basis.
